Testing new products on my own pack is a prerequisite before I stock in my own store or recommend you get elsewhere. Here's my recent review of the new KONG WOBBLER. I give it a FOUR PAWS UP, my highest rating. CHECK OUT VIDEO AND FEEL FREE TO COMMENT/RATE/SHARE.
The video gives a more complete experience in how Kong Wobbler rated here at Camp A Better Pet, but in brief, here is a summary:
Easy for people AND dogs to use -- the people to fill it up, the dog to get the food treats out. This toy is about 9" tall and is made out of durable plastic material. While it certainly will scuff when knocked about on hard surfaces or large mouthed dogs with teeth, it appears to be pretty thought out on construction. I like that the dispensing hole is shaped like a kong as well; at it's widest it's about 3/4" and 1" high so a variety of treats can be used. Me thinks it's good for dogs of all sizes (despite the literature that claims it's for dogs over 25 pounds...trust your own instincts with your own dogs) and helps "jump start" the brains of dogs undersocialized to playing with toys which is always a great thing.
My ONY criticism, and this is me being picky, is that with intelligent dogs who are familiar with food dispensing toys, it doesn't take very long to empty out the goodies. When I want a longer lasting experience, I just use the frozen stuffed regular kong approach!
So if you haven't yet tried it out, I encourage you to do so. Just use your favorite search engine to find it and then stand back and enjoy the fun.
A Better Pet Rating System:
No Paws - Skip it.
One Paw - You might like it. I didn't.
Two Paws - Half of my sample liked it. Intelligence had nothing to do with it though.
Three Paws - Intelligent, engaging but not necessarily durable.
Four Paws - Challenging, fun, innovative and highly recommend for dogs of all ages and abilities.

as it happens I just bought one...
Bought one of these yesterday for my dog who is on restricted excercise and is going nuts with boredom. He already has a simple treat ball which he can systematically empty in about 4 minutes. The kong wobbler took him 20 minutes for the same amount of kibble and he had to pursue it round the room more. That's about the same as kibble sprinkled over the lawn, but sprinkling on the lawn isn't always convenient, especially with his sore leg. A frozen kong takes longer but it's a different kind of entertainment - this needs more brain and physical activity. And it's quicker and easier to prepare than either the treat ball or a frozen kong. So yes, we're pleased with it.
can it hold a cup of food if you pour it in the top?
I only feed my dog in a food dispensing toy. We usually use a tug-a-jug. But it's nice to have a back up when washing or to keep the experience fresh.
My problem is that my golden retriever puppy gets a cup of food at a time, three meals a day. I find many of the dispensing toys don't hold enough at one time for a whole meal. I bought a Premier Squirrel Buddy recently and was disappointed to find it only held 1/2 cup.
Although you showed the Kong wobbler with 1/2 cup of food in the bottom, I'm wondering if I could block the hole, turn it upside down, and get a cup in before screwing it together? Any thoughts?

Great product
We got one of these for our 7 year old Neapolitan. She eats about 2x 1litre measuring jugs a day of dried food and we put about 3/4 of a serving in the Wobbler just before we go to work for the day and give it to her when we leave. She absolutley loves it and it's great stimulation for her as she gets older. Yes, Pamela, just hold it upside down and block the whole, pour as much food into it as you can and then screw the base back on. A wee bit of it will spill out as you put it down but it works well even this full. 4 paws!
