Steve Dale's Pet World

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin will be among the guests on my show Sunday night ... He'll talk about his call for action concerning the pet food crisis. After 8 p.m. cst at www.wgnradio.com (for those in the Chicago area, WGN Radio is 720 AM). We'll also speak with at least one pet owner who says he lost his cat due to the tainted food. In addition, news about Tree House, an all-cat shelter in Chicago - and this is good news.

So very glad...

So very glad that such an amazingly informative, level-headed and yet passionate voice is available to Dog Star Daily readers! You rock, Steve!

Wow -

Thank you for the nice comment. I personally feel Senator Durbin's is great, and I am over joyed the Senator is taking pets seriously. However, I am also cautioning - I have reason to believe (and I sure hope I am right for obvious reasons) there's been tons of MISinformation about this...For one thing, I suspect we'll find out tens of thousands of pets have not died and numbers are being exaggerated. Still, a pawful of pets - in my view - is too many...Likely, I am guessing hundreds. For various reasons, we'll never know how many...Actually, Durbin and others want some good to come from this - and I bet that will somehow happen.
